Hartigan, Mary Ann (nee Westoff), fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Tuesday, October 30, 2012.
Beloved wife of the late Vincent E. Hartigan, Jr., dearest mother of Christopher (Jean), James (Molly) and Michael (Cindy); dearest grandmother of Nathan, Sean, Joshua, Liam, Emma, Kelly and Henry; dear sister of Herbert, James, Janet, the late Rita and the late Bernard.
Mary Ann attended Webster University on a full fine arts scholarship. She was an early business woman pioneer as a graphic artist for Stix, Baer and Fuller and Proctor and Gamble. She was active in the Civil Rights and Right to Life movements, a Mackenzie High art teacher, freelance artist, St. Pat's float designer, church volunteer artist and Eucharistic minister. She was known for her deep intellectual passion, profound faith and her ability to speak extensively on any subject.
Services: The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ The King Catholic Church, 7316 Balson, at Perdue, University City on Monday, November 5th at 10:30 a.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
