Traditional Services
Traditional funeral services usually include a visitation on one evening and a formal service followed by a burial or entombment at a cemetery the following day. We understand not every family wants the same type of service so we can customize any funeral service to fit each family's individual needs.

We offer a wide selection of caskets manufactured with many different types of materials including steel, stainless steel, copper, bronze and many different types of wood species. When planning a funeral service our staff will listen to your preferences and assist you in selection of the type of product that best suits your needs.

Cremation Services
There are many options available when choosing cremation. Cremation is simply an alternative to the final disposition of the deceased. Families can have a funeral service no different than a traditional service, only instead of following the service with a ground burial or entombment, the casket is taken to a crematory for cremation. The cremated remains are later placed in an urn for committal to a final resting place. You may also choose cremation with a memorial service. A memorial service is a service without the remains of the deceased present. There are other options available as well. Our professional staff will provide you with the necessary information to enable you to make an informed decision.

Pre-Arranged Funerals
For over 100 years Lupton Chapel has provided St. Louis families with dedicated professional service when they have needed it most. We can assist you with all aspects of pre-planning a funeral. During our longstanding service to our community, we've seen the peace of mind thoughtful preparation can bring to the ones making the plans and to those left behind. We've also witnessed the heartache and confusion that may occur when no pre-arranged plans have been prepared.

Pre-planning gives you the peace of mind of knowing the deceased's wishes will be fulfilled. It also frees your loved ones of any unnecessary stress at a very emotional time. The grieving family needs to make no difficult, emotional decisions. At Lupton Chapel we will assist you with making choices for a pre-arranged funeral, helping you make unhurried informed decisions while your emotions are at rest.

Pre-arranged funerals can be funded or non-funded. Paying for the funeral in advance allows you to freeze the prices of the services and merchandise you select. Our prices are fixed as of the date of pre-arrangement, helping to relieve family members of any financial burden. Non- funded pre-arrangements still provide the elimination of emotional decisions at a difficult time, but prices are not fixed at the date of pre-arrangement.
