Facilities
Our present facility, built in 1938, is a two-story colonial Georgian style building. Our distinguished building entails four white pillars rising two stories before the front entrance shadowing the French colonial windows and leaded glass doors. A significant feature of this building includes a full internal two-story chapel with adaptation of a grand cathedral design. This distinctive chapel with adjoining private family room makes each chapel service at Lupton one of personal distinction.
Lupton chapel is designed for the comfort of close loved ones, family and friends. Homelike reception areas and lounges with attractive livingroom-type furnishings provide convenience, practicality and privacy. The original cork tile flooring, modeled and popular at the time after the great Chicago mansions, still exists in the main front hall and adjoining corridors. Our main visitation parlor, the Rose Room, generates a warm, welcoming feeling not only for grieving families, but for visiting relatives and friends as well. And just like our visitation parlors, our arrangement offices provide that same feeling. Families don't feel as if they are in an office, but importantly, welcome a feeling of comfort and calmness when visiting with a Lupton funeral director.
The Lupton Chapel facility is designed with much character, provides a homelike setting, and is just another aspect of our ability to meet our families needs with comfort, compassion and dignity.
